- If they are between sizes, choose the bike they can handle with the most confidence, not just the biggest size.
Adult bike & e-bike size chart
Adult bike & e-bike size chart
Quick size guide
Most adult bikes and e-bikes list a frame size (S, M, L, etc.) or a height range. Use this as your starting point:
- Small (S) – suits riders around 150–165 cm
- Medium (M) – suits riders around 165–178 cm
- Large (L) – suits riders around 178–188 cm
- Extra-large (XL) – suits riders around 185 cm and above
Fit tips
- If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size for a more upright, relaxed ride.
- Choose the larger size if you prefer a sportier position with more leg extension.
- Aim for a little standover clearance and the ability to touch the ground with the balls of your feet when seated.
Scooter size guide
Scooter size guide
Quick size guide
For scooters and e-scooters, focus on bar height and the maximum weight limit listed on the product page.
As a general guide:
- Bars around hip to just below waist height usually feel natural and in control.
- If the bars are too high, steering can feel light and awkward.
- If the bars are too low, you may have to lean forward too much.
Fit tips
- The rider should stand naturally on the deck with a slight bend in the elbows.
- They should feel balanced and relaxed, not leaning heavily on the bars.
- Always check the maximum rider weight to make sure the scooter is suitable.
Ride-on size guide
Ride-on size guide
Quick size guide
Most ride-ons list a recommended age range and maximum rider weight. Use these as your main guide when choosing the right size.
Fit tips
- The rider should be able to climb on and off easily without assistance.
- When seated, they should reach the steering wheel, handlebars or controls comfortably.
- Feet should reach the ground, pedals or footrests without overstretching.
- If you are choosing between two sizes, pick the one where the rider feels more in control today, rather than a size that feels too big to grow into.
